Henan Christian Church was founded in 1890, the 16th year of Emperor Guangxu's reign in Qing dynasty. It was originally the chapel of the Chinese United Brethren in Christ Mission located in Qixing Zhongyue. The chapel was moved to Hongde Wuxiang in 1934 because of road building. The new chapel was completed on April 13, 1935, and named the Church of Christ in China Hongde Church. During the Cultural Revolution, the church was occupied by schools. In 1981, the main hall of the church was taken back and resumed religious service on February 22, gaining the official name of Henan Christian Church.
It covers an area of about 800 square meters, of which the two floors of the main hall cover an area of 450 square meters. The construction area is 870 square meters and the garden area 350 square meters. The second floor of the main hall is the chapel with a capacity of over 400 seats.
