1850 Creative Park was named after the historic fact that Guangzhou was ranked fourth among the top 10 economic cities in the world in 1850, which was one of its most glorious moments in the past 1,000 years. One hundred and fifty nine years later, "1850" Cultural Creative Park was unveiled beside Pearl River in Liwan District, which was a memorial to the glorious past history of Guangzhou.

The park, with an area of more than 50,000 square meters and the total floor space of more than 30,000 square meters, owns 76 factory buildings and workshops. Reconstructed from the former largest hydrogen peroxide factory in South China, the park was built as a cluster for artistic creation, designing, exhibition, cultural exchanges, working and living based on the old factory buildings and workshops.

The area of each building in the park ranges from 100 to 3,000 square meters, where is an ideal place for the development of various creative industries such as advertising media, architectural design, artistic creation, antiquities transaction, handicraft design, fashion design, move production, software development, music production, performing arts, publishing and television broadcast.

"1850" Creative Park will be built as the "New Culture Cluster in South China", a large-scale cultural community formed with culture, business, exhibition, tourism and education including Guangzhou fashion exhibition, artistic creation, cultural exchanges, office life experience space and so forth.
