"Liuxi White Snow (Peach Blossom)" is a distinctive scene of winter in Liuxi River National Forest Park of Guangzhou. Home to some 3,000 mu of peach blossom trees (One mu equals some 667 square meters), the forest park is the largest peach blossom base in Southeast Asia. It is also where the earliest peach blossom trees spring into life in China each year. It is regarded as the number-one peach blossom park in China.

Every December, some 10,000 stubs of peach blossoms are in full bloom, presenting flowers of a variety of colors that withstand the fierce winter. The entire mountain is covered by a blanket of white, which adds radiance to the crystal-clear water and magnificent hills, making it a natural wonder of South China. In 1999, Guan Shanyue, the art master of Lingnan Art School paid a visit to Liuxi National Forest Park for appreciating the beauty of peach blossom. Stunned by the beauty of peach blossom of the park, Master Guan wrote down four Chinese characters, which literally mean "Liuxi Fragrant Snow". As such, the reputation of Liuxi Fragrant Snow spread across China. Each year, the park attracts some 100,000 domestic and international tourists to appreciate the beauty of peach blossom, take photos and draw pictures to capture the beauty. From December to January each year, Guangdong Conghua Liuxi Peach Blossom Festival is held, during which photography competitions are staged, together with folk art performances and peach blossom appreciation on boats.
