The 2nd Exhibition of GDMoA Annual Artist Nomination
In this exhibition, seven nominators and 21 nominated artists jointly present the current state of Chinese contemporary art.

As a stage for artists to showcase and communicate, the exhibition demonstrates the current situation through the artists' works. One of the must-visit artworks is the ultra-large type bamboo installation by artist Feng Yu. The work is to explore the emotion of traditional Chinese Hakka roundhouse architecture from the abstractness of space.

Observing the Way: From Chorography Research to Ink Art

The exhibition invites six contemporary Chinese artists Liu Guosong, Xu Lei, Wang Shaoqiang, Lin Guocheng, Tang Nannan, and Liu Jiayu to ask and answer questions about nature and humanity surrounding the topic of geography. It attempts to record the chorography of the contemporary art world, using new ink art as the primary expression and through the mediums of painting, installation, video, and new media.

This exhibition features Zeng Yinie's oil paintings with the subject matter of fruits, vegetables, and books. In Zeng's opinion, fruits and vegetables, which can fill the stomach, as well as books, which are the carriers of spiritual culture, represent two layers respectively. He tries to interpret the connection between the ideal method and the definite thing by painting.
