Designed by Zaha Hadid, the winner of the Pritzker Architecture Prize, and Harold Marshall, a famous acoustic designer, Guangzhou Opera House (GOH) has a unique exterior and good sound effects.
It provides many dramas and opera performances from the world and sets up a brand of "annual opera." Cooperating with theatres such as the Rome Opera House, New York Metropolitan Opera and the Royal Opera Covent Garden Theatre, GOH has produced many works including Turandot, Tosca, La Travieta and Carmen.

Guangdong Friendship Theatre (友誼劇院)

This theatre was designed by She Junnan, a famous architect. The architecture combines Lingnan traditions with modern style and enjoys the reputation of "courtyard theatre."
