Designed by Zaha Hadid, the winner of the Pritzker Architecture Prize, and Harold Marshall, a famous acoustic designer, Guangzhou Opera House (GOH) has a unique exterior and good sound effects.

It provides many dramas and opera performances from the world and sets up a brand of "annual opera." This theatre was designed by She Junnan, a famous architect. The architecture combines Lingnan traditions with modern style and enjoys the reputation of "courtyard theatre."
