On the afternoon of August 20, the "One Line, Two People" Joint Exhibition of Zhan Zhongxiao and Jin Cheng opened at Tianhe Art Gallery inside Tianhe Park, Guangzhou. The exhibition will run until August 31, with free admission and no reservation required.

The exhibition attracted white-collar workers from nearby CBD towers and visitors from Tianhe Park, who stopped by to view the artwork and take photos with their favorite pieces.

The exhibition first debuted in July 2022 at the Yu Shun Art Museum in Heilongjiang province in Northeast China, and in 2023 it toured the Guangzhou International Finance Center (IFC), Guangzhou Cultural Center, and Alpha Cultural and Creative Center in Huangpu District, Guangzhou.
Zhan Zhongxiao is renowned in the art world for his fine line drawing technique, known as "Zhan Yi Miao." His innovative scholarly philosophy and spirit have laid the foundation for the inheritance and development of this traditional technique.
Artist Jin Cheng rose to fame in the 1980s with his comic Ming Girl (明姑娘) published in Picture Stories journal. He is also a leading figure in China's animation industry, having founded Comic Fans magazine—considered a milestone in original Chinese comics—and the Golden Dragon Award, widely regarded as the "Oscars of Chinese Animation."
Zhan and Jin share a 30-year friendship, united by their mutual understanding of the line and their pursuit of expressive drawing.
