Atlas: Harmony in Diversity, co-curated by Wang Xiaosong and Jiang Jun, unfolds in two complementary sections. The first, Collect, draws on the rich visual archives of "A Comprehensive Collection of Ancient Chinese Paintings." The second, Transmit, features works by seven leading contemporary Chinese artists—Che Jianquan, Jiao Xingtao, Qiu Zhenzhong, Shi Hui, Wang Shaoqiang, Wang Zhenghong, and Zhu Jinshi. Together, these sections trace a dialogue between historical imagery and contemporary creation, offering a layered perspective on artistic inheritance and renewal.
Through the thematic lens of "gathering, exchange, and integration," the exhibition illuminates the diverse forms of expression within contemporary Chinese art, while embodying enduring cultural ideals of openness, mutual flourishing, and the celebration of beauty in diversity.
