On July 18, the inauguration ceremony of Conghua Food Industrial Park – a key benchmark industrial park in Guangzhou – was held in Conghua District.
During the event, leading local food enterprises showcased indigenous specialty products. The diverse offerings ranged from lychee-infused beverages and premium honey to innovative snacks and ready-to-eat dishes developed with locally sourced ingredients.
On the occasion, two significant plaques were unveiled: designating Conghua as a "Guangdong Provincial Food Industry Pilot County (District)" and recognizing the park as Guangzhou's "Characteristic Benchmark Industrial Park."
Additionally, the Conghua District Food Industry Association was established. This body will integrate government, corporate, academic, and financial resources to foster collaboration, resource sharing, technological exchange, and industry self-regulation.
To accelerate industrial agglomeration, multiple public service platforms have signed cooperation agreements with the park. These partnerships will provide comprehensive services, including food testing, R&D piloting, quality traceability, and cold chain logistics, for resident enterprises. Several high-potential, technology-driven food projects have also signed agreements to settle in the park.
Furthermore, the park features high-standard facilities, including a food testing center, R&D platforms, quality traceability systems, and cold chain logistics infrastructure. These provide end-to-end support from innovation to quality control.
