The applications for Guangzhou Huangpu Outstanding Scientific and Technological Talents (Category B), Elite Scientific and Technological Talents (Category C), and Rookie Scientific and Technological Talents (Category D) are open, and the deadline for this batch of applications is May 20, 2024, according to the Huangpu District government.

The recognition of these talents aims to introduce innovative and entrepreneurial scientific and technological talents in the fields of new generation of information technology, artificial intelligence, biomedicine, advanced manufacturing, new materials, new energy, and green and low-carbon industries.
The application for the above-mentioned talent recognition is part of the implementation of the Policies and Measures for Promoting the High-Quality Development of Talents in Guangzhou Development District (Huangpu District).
The Policies and Measures were released in March of this year in Huangpu District of Guangzhou, providing up to 5 million yuan of housing subsidies to eligible individuals, up to 10 million yuan of entrepreneurship subsidies, and 10 million yuan of investment incentives for entrepreneurship projects.
Expats planning to apply for talent recognition should have obtained legal work permits and residence permits.
