Article 1 The participants of the press conferences held by Guangzhou News Center (hereinafter referred to as the Center) should be designated journalists from designated media. To be admitted, the designated journalists from designated media shall apply to the Center in advance and an IC card will be issued to each journalist after being approved, registered and recorded by the Center.
Article 2 The IC card can only be used by a designated journalist during the press conference and not allowed to be borrowed or sold. If a designated journalist doesn’t attend press conferences anymore because of job change, he shall have his IC card returned and cancelled promptly. If a designated journalist is replaced, the successor shall apply to the Center by presenting the letter from his organization and his own journalist card and go through required formalities.
Article 3 Journalists may check the schedule of the press conferences on the official website of the Center. They should submit interview application online promptly together with their intended interview questions before they are certified and admitted to the press conferences by the Center.
Article 4 Journalists should attend the press conference punctually and conduct their interviews and take photos in designated areas to avoid any disruption of the press conference. They should obey the discipline of the press conference and follow the instructions of the working staff to ensure the order of the press conference.
Article 5 The journalist who wants to attend the press conference temporarily should submit prior application to the Center by presenting his journalist card for a temporary IC card and return the IC card after the press conference immediately.
Article 6 In case of IC card loss, the journalist should inform the Center immediately and apply for replacement.
Article 7 The journalists attending the press conference organized by the Center should carefully check the spokesmen list and relevant release data and provide prompt feedback to the Center in terms of their coverage.
