A recent announcement indicates that the Guangzhou Nansha Railway Station project is planned to be completed on February 29, 2028.

Located on Zhujiang Street in Nansha District, the station covers a total area of 120,000 square meters and serves as a key auxiliary station within Guangzhou's passenger transport hub system.
Its long-term planning includes 14 platforms and 29 tracks, surpassing the scale of Guangzhou Baiyun Station, which has 11 platforms and 24 tracks.
According to the plan, Nansha Station will integrate multiple rail lines, including the Nansha Port Railway, Shenzhen-Maoming Railway, and Guangzhou-Zhongshan-Zhuhai-Macao High-Speed Railway. It will also connect with Guangzhou metro lines 18, 15, and 4.

The completion of Nansha Station will shorten travel times between cities in the Greater Bay Area, providing efficient access to major cities such as Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Huizhou, Dongguan, Zhongshan, and Jiangmen within one hour.
