Notice of Guangzhou Municipal Planning and Natural Resources Bureau on Further Improving Non-Residential Real Estate Registration Information Enquiry Services

  To district branches of Guangzhou Municipal Planning and Natural Resources Bureau, Property Titling and Registration Office of the Bureau, Guangzhou Municipal Real Estate Registration Center, Guangzhou Urban Planning, Survey and Design Research Institute, and Guangzhou Municipal Real Estate Archives,

  In order to continuously improve the business environment, give full play to the property right publicity function of real estate registration, and enhance the standard of services to benefit the people and enterprises, Guangzhou Municipal Planning and Natural Resources Bureau hereby makes the following announcement regarding matters on further improving non-residential real estate registration information enquiry services according to the relevant requirements of theRegulations of Guangzhou Municipality on Improving the Business Environment:

  1. Further Expanding the Scope of Real Estate Registration Information Enquiry

  In addition to the right to enquire about the natural condition of real estate, and whether there are sharing, registration of mortgage, registration of objection, and registration of seizure, any entity or individual is entitled to enquire the names of real estate right holders. Any entity or individual may, according to the relevant provisions of the state or the municipality on the enquiry of real estate registration information, enquire free of charge for the registered information of a nonresidential real estate that has juridical persons or unincorporated organizations as its right holders with relevant keywords such as the location of the real estate, the real estate ownership certificate number, or the real estate unit number, unless the information involves state secrets.

  2. Further Diversifying Channels for Enquiry ofReal Estate Registration Information

  To further diversify channels for enquiry of real estate registration information, any individual may search for real estate registration information as needed through such channels as “Guangzhou Real Estate Registration (廣州不動產登記)” WeChat Official Account, the official website of Guangzhou Municipal Planning and Natural Resources Bureau, and in-person visits to real estate registration information enquiry counters and self-service machines according to the relevant provisions.

  This Notice shall come into force from September 1, 2020.

  Note:

  1. The scope of enquiryand certification covers the valid real estate registration records within the administrative division of Guangzhou Municipality.

  2. The applicant shalltimely verify the identity information and the results. If there is any question on the enquiry results, the applicant shall timely ask the staff at the enquiry counters. If the applicant conceals information or provides false information, the applicant shall bear the legal liabilities arising therefrom.

  3. The applicant and holder of the enquirycertification have an obligation to keep and use the enquiry certification properly. Legal consequences arising from any improper keeping or use of the enquiry certification shall be borne by the applicant and holder.

  4.The applicant and holder of the enquiry certification have an obligation to keep the state secrets, personal privacy and business secrets contained herein confidential, and shall neither disclose without consent nor improperly use the above-mentioned information.

  5. If there is no data found for a particular field, “-” is displayed in the enquiry results.
