The 136th Canton Fair officially commenced on October 15. As a crucial transportation hub for domestic and international guests arriving in and departing from Guangzhou, Baiyun Airport has set up exclusive comprehensive service counters at the Canton Fair exhibition venue for guests to conveniently handle ticketing, check-in, and luggage check in one stop. To meet the diverse needs of guests, the counters also offer "air ticket + hotel", "air ticket + tourism", and direct bus services to and from the airport.

At this year's Canton Fair, Baiyun Airport has established three comprehensive service counters at the exhibition venue, located at B District Comprehensive-2, D District 19-5, and A District 5-3.
The B District counter is the main service counter, where Baiyun Airport cooperates with nine airlines, including China Southern Airlines, Air China, China Eastern Airlines, Shenzhen Airlines, Hainan Airlines, Long Dragon Airlines, Juneyao Airlines, JiXing Airlines, and Ethiopian Airlines, to provide on-site guests with check-in procedures and direct baggage handling services, airport bus schedule inquiries and ticketing guidance, air ticket inquiries and flight information inquiries, air cargo logistics consultation, VIP service consultation and handling, and one-stop services such as air tickets, hotel, car rental, tourism, and scenic spot ticket reservations, to meet the travel needs of guests in all aspects.
The D District counter offers special Canton Fair benefits from China Southern Airlines, including cultural and creative products, check-in handling, luggage check, and flight information inquiries; the A District counter mainly provides Tongcheng membership benefits, promoting platinum card member privileges.
Airport - exhibition hall special line bus launched:
During the peak period, it's convenient to leave when full
During the exhibition period (October 15-19, 2024, October 23-27, 2024, October 31-November 4, 2024), Baiyun Airport's express (空港快線) will operate a special bus line between the airport and the Pazhou exhibition hall, with each bus departing every 40 minutes on average. The first bus to the Canton Fair exhibition hall departs at 09:00 and the last at 16:00. The first bus to Baiyun Airport departs at 11:00 and the last at 18:00.
When there is an increase in passenger flow, a rolling schedule is adopted, with each added bus leaving when seats are all taken. Baiyun Airport T1 and T2 terminal building bus ticket counters both have priority channels, where exhibitors can enjoy a discounted ticket price of 35 yuan per person with relevant Canton Fair badges when taking the bus at the terminal building and Pazhou exhibition hall.
In addition, during the Fair period, guests with exhibitor/buyer badges who purchase products from Baiyun Airport's Pullman Hotel, Novotel Hotel, Ausotel Hotel, and Yunzhi Hotel can enjoy free hotel-to-exhibition hall vehicle transfer services. Guests can also enjoy additional discounts on specific products such as accommodation, lounges, and travel.
"Canton Fair Hotline"
to facilitate payment for inbound travelers
For the Fair, Baiyun Airport strengthens its online and offline inquiry services provision. On one hand, the customer service hotline 96158 has launched a "Canton Fair Hotline" by pressing 7 (October 11 to November 8), providing passengers with a one-stop source of Canton Fair travel information and consultation services. On the other hand, the airport collaborates with Guangzhou's multilingual service hotline, 960169, to ensure smooth switches between the airport hotline and the multilingual hotline.
Eight additional mobile inquiry points have been added in areas with high passenger flow in T1 and T2 terminals to assist passengers in self-service check-in and service consultation. The "Airport Pass" app and Baiyun Airport's official website also feature a Canton Fair column, making it convenient for Canton Fair guests to obtain various airport service information, inquire about flights, hotel booking and lounges online.
Near the exit of the T2 international arrival hall, an inbound payment experience service counter is set up to provide multi-language human consultation services. It offers integrated services for first-time international passengers in Guangzhou, including aligning with foreign cards, mobile payments, and purchasing phone cards.
During the Canton Fair period, Baiyun Airport's terminals will also host art exhibitions, music salons, and "Little Musicians" performances, enhancing the travel experience of passengers through a variety of cultural activities and providing a comfortable travel environment for guests from home and abroad.
