The Guangzhou-Pokhara Young Entrepreneurs Exchange Meeting was held in Guangzhou on March 4. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of friendship city relations between Guangzhou and Pokhara, Nepal.

About 60 representatives from government departments and youth enterprises of the two cities attended the event, promoting cooperation between Guangzhou and Pokhara in the fields of economy, trade, culture, and tourism.

The delegation of young entrepreneurs from Pokhara also visited the Nansha District of Guangzhou and enterprises in automobile, science and technology, e-commerce and other fields, such as Aion, iFlytek, Vipshop, and Biemlfdlkk.

According to the Foreign Affairs Office of Guangzhou, Guangzhou and Pokhara established a friendly city relationship in November 2014, and there have been frequent exchanges between the two cities since then. Nepal is an important partner country in China's Belt and Road Initiative, and Pokhara is Nepal's second largest city and a major international tourism destination with unique natural scenery.
